Rachel Roberts

Chartered Accountant and Managing Director

Rachel trained with Coopers and Lybrand (now PwC UK) in the Business Services Group in Manchester and London, dealing with the full range of clients and providing the whole service from sole trader accounts to limited company accounts, personal tax, corporation tax and business strategy.

She has been running her own practice for over twenty-five years.

Clients see her as part of their team – she has a mantra – “tell me before you do it” – most of them get that!

She loves helping clients develop their business, so it delivers what they need it to do.
Outside work Rachel enjoys the theatre, music, walking, and spending time with her large family.

Becca Learmonth

Office Manager & Personal Tax Coordinator

Becca manages the office and provides much of the administration support. She takes responsibility for filing the annual confirmation statements and other Company Secretarial roles, as well as coordinating the Personal Tax process from April to January.

Becca is very efficient and takes the hassle out of having an office. It is Becca who will usually be your first port of call on the phone. She is also responsible for our social media.

Becca enjoys listening to music and attending concerts and walking her rather large Labradoodle!

Joanna Glover

Accounts Assistant & Payroll Manager

Joanna (Jo) is responsible for running our many payrolls and bookkeeping for several clients.

She is also often our Minister for Fun!

She has two children with whom she enjoys many adventures. She enjoys keeping fit and loves travel. Jo often has holidays lined up for the next few years – which has not been easy in recent times!

Alice Hack

Accounts Assistant

Alice has a Masters in Applied Accounting from De Montfort University and has passed the examinations to qualify as an ACCA this summer.

Alice works on several clients producing monthly management accounts, and produces annual statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax computations.

She enjoys visiting the gym and going to concerts now the study is over – for now!

Tom Evans

Accounts Assistant & Payroll Assistant

Tom joined us in lockdown as a bookkeeper from a role in the accounts department of a local company. He turns his hand to a lot of roles and is King of the spreadsheet He also takes responsibility for filing CIS returns.

He is studying for his AAT level.

Outside work he has fun with ants, crochet, and family. And he has the driest sense of humour!

Szonja Marti

Admin Assistant & Accounts Assistant

Szonja supports the smooth running of the office and is also developing her own bookkeeping clients. She will be the “chaser” if clients need a nudge in order to meet deadlines and is involved in practice management for the billing process.

Szonja has a young daughter and two kittens and enjoys spending time with her extended family.

Debbie Searle

Accounts Administrator

Debbie is qualified to AAT Level 4 and has many years’ experience as a bookkeeper. Her strengths lie in her forensic attention to detail and her persistence in getting to the bottom of transactions.

She supports clients in transitioning to Quickbooks and has bags of patience – she loves a challenge!

Debbie enjoys the theatre and baking – much to our delight!
